The guest bedroom and its bathroom (recently refurbished) form the side wing of the property at number 8, Dean Bank Lane, Edinburgh – just around the corner from St Stephen Street, a really nice area to look around with some interesting Georgian architecture.
There are some good little shops in St Stephen’s Street and whilst staying here you can wander along the pleasant riverside walk from Stockbridge to the Dean Village. There aren’t any touristy things to discover though – just a very attractive old part of town, and you can walk back up to the West End of Princes Street in about 15 minutes.
The bedroom at the Coach House has 2 matching single beds and is freshly decorated in light colours. There is even a private sauna adjacent, available for a small extra charge per use.
Furnishing is both attractive and homely. Accommodation is all on the ground floor level, with no stairs to climb, although the building dates back as far as 1815 and is not converted for specific use by wheelchair users.
There is a pleasant view of the mews garden (with exterior lights at night) from the bedroom window and 2 separate matching single beds.
